True Story

Wilco Probate Solutions

My name is Michelle Ellis.   Yes,  I’m an investor & a real estate agent.  But I’m a human first.

In that 2016 photo above is my husband, c.b.    My 3 younger boys are to my right, Joshua, Enoch, and Jachin.  Our youngest, Madison is being held by her big brother (more about him below). Many parents want to teach their kids about what integrity looks like. So do I. But more importantly, every day, I want to demonstrate it.

On the far left is Nathan, sweet Nathan.  On July 4, 2017, our lives were forever changed when our oldest son, Nathan, drowned at Lake Georgetown while with his church youth group.

I experienced firsthand the debilitating effects of grief. Eventually, when I emerged from my ‘grief cloud’, I began to consider how difficult it must be for spouses, children, siblings and others of loved ones who have passed away to have to navigate the mountain of work that an estate in probate brings while also dealing with their grief.  Over the last couple of years, without any reaching out on my part, the Lord brought some widows & widowers into my life who needed help with settling an estate.  After helping them navigate the process, I determined to use my experience to help my community.

Now, every month, I collect the names of personal representatives from the Williamson County clerk,  and then make phone calls and send letters.  I actually don’t look forward to making those calls – because I hate rejection and I don’t want to be perceived as “just another sales person”.  But then, inevitably, I speak to a handful of people whom I’m meant to help and it is all worth it.

Grief can limit your capacity, no matter how strong, smart and capable you are.   That’s why I and my team are here for you. We want to take some of the burden of the practical details off of your shoulders. Over the years, I have assembled an incredible team of professionals to assist my clients in preparing their homes to sell, as well as helping with other practical matters. Whether it is navigating name changes on bank accounts, assisting with changing home insurance, or scheduling capable and dependable contractors, we can lighten your load.

I’m grateful and honored to be able to help the families we do.
